On December 19, 2014, the 3rd International conference “The system of vehicle technical inspection and road traffic safety 2014” took place in Moscow.
Within the conference framework, results of the technical inspection in 2014 were voiced.
Participants discussed problems and prospects of the industry’s development; special consideration was given to the matter of increased efficiency of control procedures in respect of unfair members of the market.
In the opinion of experts who had participated in the event, the law-enforcing practice that has formed in the reforms’ past period and is taking into account the existing experience in operators’ accreditation, demonstrates that in the technical inspection law certain amendments need to be added that would enable to reduce the number of unfair members of the market, eliminate legal collisions and increase the overall efficiency of the technical inspection system.
